At an altitude of 1563 m on 53.2 square kilometers stretched – Selva. True, this is not a tropical forest, but a diminutive name for the real ski resort of Selva di Val Gardena. The biggest opportunities for beginners are open in the Dantercepies area, where not only most of the tracks are blue, but also ski schools and snowboard schools. Those who consider themselves an experienced snowboarder, go to Ciampinoi or Sella Ronda, where under the peak of Sassolungo is located an excellent snow and fan park Piz-Sella (Piz Sella). Serving all the skiing areas of almost 40 lifts of various types: chair, cabin, gondola. And in the summer, when skiing and snowboarding rest until the next season, walk around the neighborhood, ride horses and mountain bikes and be sure to have fun during the often costumed folklore processions in Selva. The après ski bars and cafes in Selva are pleased with the choice of food and drinks and the design of the establishments. The cozy La Stua, trimmed with wood, the unusual Igloo, delighting the children, the Yello’s and Kronestube bars, the romantic Pra Valentini, the mountain Gérard, Juac, Saslonch, Gran Paradiso and many others – choose any! The choice of pizzerias, bars and restaurants in the city itself is not at all small: La Bula, L Mulinè, Else, Olympia, Pozzamanigoni, Luislkeller, Saltos – you can continue listing for a long time, have time to get hungry.
