Global Transfer Italy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Who we are

Global Transfer ("we", "us") operates the website global-transfer.com and provides private transfer, tour and chauffeured car services in Italy and Switzerland. For any privacy questions contact us at info@global-transfer.com.

2. What data we collect

When you request a booking or contact us we collect: your name, email address, phone number, trip details (route, date, time, passengers, luggage, child seats, flight number) and any message you send us.

We also collect technical data automatically: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, pages visited, and traffic source (including UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers) — used for analytics and to understand how customers find us.

3. Why we process it

To respond to your booking request, provide the transfer service, send you a confirmation email, and communicate about your trip (legal basis: performance of a contract or steps prior to entering one).

To improve our website and marketing (legal basis: legitimate interest or your consent for analytics cookies).

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the site to function and, with your consent, analytics cookies. You can accept or reject analytics cookies in the cookie banner. See the Cookie Policy for details.

5. Who we share data with

Your trip details are shared with the assigned driver strictly to perform the service. We use technical providers (hosting, email delivery, messaging) acting as processors. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention

Booking data is kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to comply with legal (tax, accounting) obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@global-transfer.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
